Cavill Mall is a must-see when you're in Surfers. Dozens of cafes, eateries and bars to cater to all tastes and budgets.
There are also a wide and varied selection of markets to choose from including the Carrara Markets - the biggest markets in the southern hemisphere, offering great crafts, food, leather goods, novelties, books and rides. There are beachfront markets at Surfers Paradise every Friday night between 5:30 and 10pm. There are also markets at Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads, Coolangatta, Jimboomba and Tambourine Mountain.

Theme Parks

is undoubtedly the theme park capital of Queensland. Dreamworld, the largest theme park in the southern hemisphere boasts 11 themed worlds of fun. Don't miss Warner Brothers Movie World where the magic of screen comes alive. Sea World is a favourite with the delightful friendly marine life. Less famous but just as much fun are the smaller theme parks such as Ripley's Believe it or not Cable Ski World, Frozen World, and numerous family amusement arcades.

Conrad Jupiters Casino
For entertainment without the kids, you can't go past Conrad Jupiters Casino. A trip to the Gold Coast would not be complete without the excitement of a visit to this world famous casino. Open 24 hours with two floors of gaming tables, a high rollers room, fabulous live shows and a host of bars and themed restaurants, it is definitely worth a visit.

Nature's Wonderland
For peace and nature lovers, don't miss the Gold Coast. Follow the roads inland just a few kilometers from the beaches and a magical world unfolds. Don't miss Lamington National Park, Mount Tamborine or the green mountains of O'Reilly'sEnjoy the tropical rainforests, mountain villages and other hidden treasures of the Gold Coast's hinterland. new reciprocal link

The New Reciprocal Link

Any internet marketer will tell you about the importance of your ‘linking strategy’ in getting your website indexed and ranking highly in the search engines.

In the past reciprocal links were all the rage. People were (and still are) trying to get sites with high rankings to link back to their site to show search engines that their site is of greater importance. To do this they were putting links up on their sites, ie You link to my site and I’ll link to yours. This was a strategy that worked well.

However, it was always hard to find linking partners. Sure there was software to help, you could hire people and spend your own time sending emails but ultimately, sites that are ranked highly don’t usually want to link back to your site because there’s nothing in it for them! And you can always use directories but they usually won’t provide you with a link that is relevant enough in the eyes of the search engines to significantly improve your ranking.

Furthermore the reciprocal linking theory has changed somewhat in the eyes of the search engines in the past few months. We can only speculate as to why but it has occurred that reciprocal links are given less weight in comparison to one way back links from other sites. Perhaps this is because an inbound link will seem more natural if it doesn’t exist only because of a link that you have put up to the linkers site. Anyway we could guess forever but the result is that reciprocal linking is dying.

The big question then is “What do we do instead”?

Get as many one way back links as you can! How do you do that? Well I’m sure that there are many ways but here is one way that I’ve been using successfully.

You’ve probably heard people raving about blogs. These days everyone has one, everyone is making them and everyone who doesn’t, WANTS TO.

Now, there are people who own ‘blog farms’ which are large numbers of blogs in a network that are controlled by a central system. On a small scale what I do is post a link to my site on other peoples blogs, either with a sig file or with a link in my post. Now you probably realise that it’s going to take a long time to make hundreds of posts with your link to hundreds of blogs and you’re right. But there is a faster way!

There are people who run services of blog farms who will give you the ability to post your link to the hundreds of blogs that they own. Do you know what this means? This means you can instantly receive hundreds of backlinks from other (generally high ranking blog) websites, to get indexed in the search engines in record time, improve your sites rankings, and receive a barrage of traffic with almost NO EFFORT!

Doesn’t get much easier than that!

The Biggest Internet Marketing Mistake Ever.

It is perhaps the biggest mistake to the newcomer internet marketer. The tendency to focus on trying to make money from the big markets online is rampant amongst beginner online millionaire aspirants. This results in a lot of dismayed newbies, a lot of frustration and eventually a lot of failure.

I think it goes without saying but just to clarify: Trying to generate a profit in these markets when your competition are EXPERTS at doing what you are still learning how to do is a recipe for disaster.

What I am about to tell you is by no means new advice but I never cease to notice the number of IM’ers failing to heed this advice.

The advice? You have to (if your starting out anyway) focus on a niche market! You have to concentrate on creating monetized sites in markets where your pages have a chance to be found by people through search engines.

Of course there are other ways to get traffic. The other most common form for newbies is to use pay per click campaigns. The problem is that the keywords in these enormous markets are so expensive and hence usually out of reach for the new marketer.

By focusing on a niche market you instantly increase your chances of success ten fold! You will spend less money, get more traffic and be able to hone your skills in a more ‘friendly’ environment. If you start out this way you may be able to gather the expertise to properly compete in the super competitive markets later on down the track!

This principle is effective regardless of the way you plan to monetize your site. For example you will want to apply this idea if you are publishing adsense sites, promoting affiliate programs or creating your own product.

The only question is “how do I find a niche”? The internet is such an amazing place that new markets are being created every day so unlike the big impenetrable markets there is an endless supply of niches.

We will address this subject in the next article of this series…

Andrew Hansen.

how you can uncover profitable niches

How You Can Uncover a Profitable Niche Market

Ok so you know you need to find a niche market, but how on earth do you do that? With so many niches out there, where do you start?

Ok firstly your going to need to go to your computer and open two windows:

Google.com
inventory.overture.com

What we are looking for and what we really mean by a niche market is a market that has a relatively low number of pages already listed in the search engines. This figure represents supply or ‘competition’ for this niche. What we also need a niche to have in order for us to be able to profit from it is a relatively high number of ‘demand’ or people already searching for this niche.

As in basic economics a high demand and low supply creates value. So, if we can find a niche (meaning a keyword) with these qualities then we stand to profit from it.

To find this information you can look to Google to find the results pages and Overture Keyword Selector to find the number of searches the word has per month.

Ok, so how do we know what is high demand and low supply? Great question! Once you start to have a look around you will get a feel for what is a lot of searches and what is a low number of results pages.

Different people have different definitions in terms of numbers of what is a niche market and what isn’t. Generally if you can find a word that has over 10 000 searches per month and 2 million or less results pages in Google. You will have a pretty solid Niche.

To give you an idea to get you started here’s an example:

Software: 732 075 searches : 5 500 000 000 results pages
This is a BIG market… High search volume and High competition

Internet Marketing Online: 16 000 searches : 358 000 000 results pages
This is a COMPETITIVE market… Low search volume relative to competition

Pug Dog: 10 000 searches : 5 000 000 results pages
This is a NICHE Market… High search volume relative to competition.

I hope you can see now what I mean by Niche Market…

how to super charge your adsense profits

How to Super Charge Your Adsense Earnings…

You’ve heard the stories of superstar Adsense publishers earning 4? 5? 6? Figures a month? Want to know how they really do it without having to buy a $497 course? Tune in!

The goal of most high earning adsense publishers is pretty simple. If there is a page of yours out there with Adsense on it there’s a chance it will get clicked. Therefore it makes sense that the more pages you have out there on the net with your Adsense on it the more chances you have to make money.

The type of sites that are used in this method are usually machine generated as the goal is to be able to make them as quickly as possible. There are hundreds of site generating tools out there now from the originals like traffic equalizer to the now more advanced kinds.

Basically they just create hundreds of keyword optimized pages for you to upload to your website. These pages are designed to rank well in the search engines and hence bring traffic that can click on your ads. Recently however, machine generated pages of any kind have begun to lose favour in the search engines and are becoming delisted very easily.

They almost need to be avoided completely but the exception is if you can make or find a good template page based on core search engine marketing principles. The other exception is that they can work when used in conjunction with what we will talk about next.

So what do you do instead? Blog it baby! Anyone who has been on the internet for a while will have heard about blogs and specifically the ‘blog and ping method’ for attracting search engine spiders to your site and hence getting it listed and ranked in the search engines. I won’t go into it in detail and if you want to know more just go and search ‘blog and ping’ in Google but basically when done correctly it’s a method of getting your page indexed in Google very quickly.

Of course then what you do is have Adsense on your blog so you can get a page (the blog) created and indexed in the search engines very quickly.

So once again the idea is to make as many pages (as many blogs with adsense on them) across as many domains as you can as quickly as you can… Pay people to make them for you, do whatever you can to automate the process but that is the general principle. We will get more into how to promote the sites (so they rank better) later.

finding keywords for adwords publishers

Finding keywords for adwords publishers. If you advertise with adwords you have probably realised that with recent changes to their system, the crowd at google have made it very difficult to maintain a profitable adwords campaign. This applies to those promoting other peoples products or their own.
The way I used to create a keyword list for my campaigns was to use the adwords sandbox to enter a bunch of keywords that were relevant to my market and just add whatever words it spat out at me.

It took me a while but I realized eventually that this wasn’t the best way to go about it. Many of my keywords would become inactive and the ones that remained were ranked 17.2 and not seeing a lot of action at all.

It annoyed me because as you probably know, on the adwords traffic estimate screen you always seem to get a number of clicks that excites you but when you actually put up the campaign the results you see are much different. Also I was always limited by the number of related keywords I could think up in my own head.

I knew about the power of ‘backdoor’ keywords but couldn’t think up enough of them up to create a profitable campaign! The point it changed is when I found a piece of software that could I could use to see the bid results for large numbers of keywords at once so I could tell immediately which keywords were going to be the most profitable to use in my campaigns and which ones I shouldn’t bother with. Not only that but this same piece of software will actually find for me the backdoor keywords that are generally less competitive and super valuable for an adwords advertiser. With this software I first find a market and a product I want to promote then find a website about this product…

I then insert this URL into the software and it will scan all the words on the page and use certain technologies to tell me all other keywords related to that keyword that I would never have thought of! The result? More keywords, more backdoor and hence more profitable keywords and a lower cost, potentially higher conversion ad campaign!

The software is called Brainstorm Generator and can be seen via the link in this biography box. I highly recommend it as it is a very powerful tool. Andrew HansenFind All the Profitable Niche Markets You Can Handle with Revolutionary New Keyword Tool. Find Out More at: www.brainstormgenerator.com

finding a market in depth for adsense publishers

Finding a Market in Depth For Adsense Publishers. Ok here’s a popular topic among new adsense publishers. What do you make your adsense sites on? Lots of people tell you to look for keywords that pay a high cost per click so that you make the most money each time someone clicks on your ads. Seems like a logical strategy… Apart from the fact that it DOESN’T WORK! The words that have the high cost per click are the super competitive words that you should know by now are not the markets you want to be entering because they are exactly… TOO COMPETITIVE. They pay a high CPC because so many people advertise under them, so you will be unable to get good traffic and unable to make any money. So what do you do instead of looking for high paying keywords? As we have mentioned previously, you look for keywords that have low competition (search results) and high demand (searches per month). You find NICHE markets. But for an adsense publisher to be successful there are some other keys to finding good markets besides the competitiveness of the market. The first thing you need to make sure is that there are actually people advertising under these terms so that Adsense is going to be able to find relevant advertisements to show on your sites. You can do this just by putting the word in google and see if you can see sponsored links. If there are sponsored links, people are advertising. As a general rule, if you can see 5 or more advertisements in the sponsored links section that DON’T INCLUDE Ebay ads (pay only a few cents a click) then your niche market is suitable. Remember that your adsense block on your site is a block of usually 4 ads so if there aren’t more than 5 your site will be effected. Also, although you don’t want to focus on the cost per click of the keyword, it is helpful to know the value of keywords in this niche market. You can do this by finding the overture bid tool online and typing in your word to see the value people are paying to advertise. Suppose you find 2 niches that have relatively the same ratio of supply and demand, it might be helpful to select the one with the higher bid price to work on first… As a last note, it is always more helpful to select a market that is less tech savvy and more family, young people, less tech savvy people group. Simply because tech savvy know what are ads and what aren’t and are usually more reluctant to click on your adsense ads!Andrew Hansen

$10,000 Search Engine Competition, its Great fun

Hi there,

theres a new competition for internet webmasters.

Webmasters are competing to have their website listed No1 for this search term

v7ndotcom elursrebmem

the person listed No1 in google.com on the 15th May will win $10,000

This is the third of these competitions ive been involved in, though this one is by far the biggest,
1. in terms of prize money
2. The level of interest
3. the amount of pages indexed after 3 days.. 116,000 in google when searching for the term v7ndotcom elursrebmem, 3 days ago it was 0 , im estimating within a month there will be over 1 million results :)

If your a webmaster, or intersted in getting your sites listed well in the search engines, these competitions are really fun.

heres my experience over the last 4 days.

day 1 Got an email about the competition, went to the forum to read up about it., read all the posts and decided to join.
Purchased a domain and thought about what style of site to enter, decided on a custom modified word press blog. I created my sub domain , installed the word press blog.. found a theme I liked, then modified the templates to remove any reference to word press , tidied up the header template to suit the search engines.
this is my competition entry site

I then added this to my signature in 2 forums and added links to it from a couple of my websites.

Searched in google for v7ndotcom elursrebmem with 0 results..
